December 2, 2023The annual Holiday Model Train Show has been canceled for 2023. We are truly heartbroken, but as an all volunteer organization without enough volunteer support we cannot efficiently and effectively provide you with the experience you have come to expect. Safety of our volunteers and our guests comes first.

January 21, 2024The Washington Virginia Maryland Garden Railway Society (WVMGRS) will have a G-Scale #modeltrains display running at the #FairfaxStation Railroad Museum!
Visit the Museum on Sunday, January 21 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The sheer size of these trains is a wonder to behold, as is their ability to run through the garden all year around. If you've ever thought about running trains in the garden, this is the event to see these trains and speak with experienced people about this facet of the #modelrailroading hobby. The museum is located at 11200 Fairfax Station Road in Fairfax Station, VA.
Admission: museum members, free; 13 through adult, $5; children 5-12, $3; children 4 and under, free; seniors 65 and older, $4; active/retired Military, $4.
