The Fairfax Station Railroad Museum was dedicated on October 17, 1987, following a decade long effort to save and restore the former railroad depot. Our celebration of our 30th anniversary is just one of many events taking place this year as part of Fairfax County’s commemoration of the 275th anniversary of its formation in 1742.
