Ryan Park of Troop 577 (Centreville, VA) recently completed a land conservation project at the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum in fulfillment of his Eagle Scout requirements.

Troop members cleared a dedicated natural area of invasive species and restored natural water drainage. The project helps retain the natural setting around the museum and immediate neighborhood.

Multiple Eagle Scout projects have been carried out over the last year at the museum. Scouts have managed the complex projects while complying with COVID-19 protocols to assure the health and safety of all participants.
